“Will it hurt?”

This is one of the most common questions we hear from our patients, and our answer is that, as dentists, your health is our number one priority and that includes your comfort.

We take pride in our approach to dentistry. The team at Pacific Dental Care is focused on providing the highest quality care so that you can enjoy a healthy smile and look forward to your visits to our clinic.

And we understand that visiting the dentist can be scary, especially for patients who have had unpleasant experiences in the past. We are committed to changing the perception that a trip to the dentist is something to dread. We want you to be just as happy to see us as we are to see you!

Your Comfort Is Important

There are several things we do to prepare and plan for your comfort and safety during your appointment. From ensuring that the chair is properly adjusted to providing a television in each treatment room for you to focus on while we work on your mouth, we strive to create a comfortable, relaxing environment for gentle dental care

When it comes to your dental treatment, we also put a lot of thought and care into that, too. Our highly trained dentists and dental hygienists work methodically and with precision so that the soft and vulnerable structures in your mouth, including your gums and cheek tissue, aren’t put under any undue stress.

If you have any particular sensitivities that could impact your experience in the dentist chair and make you more susceptible to pain or discomfort, please let us know about them! We can adjust our care approach accordingly.

For example, for procedures that could potentially be difficult to endure, we can either freeze the area or recommend anesthesia.

How we use tools and technology to improve your experience

Although the tools and technology in a dental clinic can look a little scary, the truth is they actually make dentistry more gentle and efficient than it used to be in the past.

The progress that has been made in dental tools, technology, procedures, and materials means that we can perform treatments more quickly and with more accuracy, so that you’re in and out of the chair much faster.

There’s never been a better or easier time to look after your smile. We look forward to seeing you at your next dental appointment!
